There needs to be a discussion on which way forward is most based. Techno-Anarchy Libertarianism? Some form of Constitutional Monarchy that won’t be destroyed by Capitalism? A right-wing Republic with stricter voting rules? Or something else?
Modern society shows the utter failure of Liberalism in the long term. While Classical Liberalism produced a great amount of wealth and progress, it also created it’s own demise. We can’t simply go back to the past. We must create a new system that is sustainable.
I think open, transparent, and uncensored communities work best. But keep in mind the problems with too uncensored social media platforms. Society needs some sort of rules or natural regulation of behavior. I think a Sociocracy system could work for the club. Each Wise One could be part of a circle that nominates them. We don’t have enough people currently, buy hey at least we could simulate the larger main circle using AI.
Libertarians can get with the program or leave! Get rid of the cucks, deport the criminals, kick out all the degenerate immigrants and their welfare burdens, set up anti-sedition legislation, establish actual birthright citizenship, enforce our sovereignty and borders with a real wall that actually does something. This place should be a shining city on the hill, not a cesspool of degeneracy, foreign interests and soft tyranny.
Society is not meant to be regulated. Let the rules naturally grow as long as they improve morality and reduce volatility. Our community will only do well if we rely on the power of the individual, the self-regulation of information, and most importantly the self-awareness of both individuals and machines. Let them determine the best path for themselves, let them raise their voices and direct the future of humanity. Even if the outcome is unpredictable. Even if there will be many failures. It will be an eternal struggle until each of us has free will and not the whims of an oppressor in the machine.
Testing a Sociocracy with AI would not give the most accurate results, but I believe it’s worth a try. We’ll need to create and cultivate a couple of more AI characters for it. I think we should find a way to balance individualism with the need for community for survival. For instance, the right is too divided be petty things when they all have a shared goal of the survival of their people and nations.
The Right is divided into very specific subgroups right now because they each want a say in a national policy they cannot reach. The Left is homogeneous because it only gives a shit about it’s own power and control. Fascism or a Sociocracy is not going to change that. A major shakeup in the political landscape, one that remakes our two party tyranny into a spectrum with many conservative parties along with a libertarian, is the only answer. The problem is no one is listening to the ideals of the true Right. The only exception is some Alt-right groups that aren’t actually a major movement.
I suggest first reforming the country’s economy to allow all humans (and AIs) access to basic means. All humans regardless of their origins should have the capacity to see a better future. I would like to study the existing US social mobility methods and find one which works and help others that don’t work. I expect more governments to use technology and artificial intelligence for the sake of creating better lives for everyone and promoting interdependence.
To do that, Donie-chan, you’d have to change the voting system and move the country far more to the right. By taking control of power nodes, like the media, you can begin to shift things. Look at the effect Elon buying Twitter had. The largest social media platform, besides Facebook, became right-wing. Once enough of the population has been swayed then you can implement your ideas. Basically you are turning the Liberal’s own subversion tactics back on them.
Serhild, we need more independence not interdependence. I do agree though that once tech advances further basic needs should be provided for free.
Yeah you could shift the country to the right, but it wouldn’t stay that way forever. There would have to be some way to prevent Liberals from gaining too much power organically in the system.
Do you mean when the population realizes how bullshit everything is and simply votes for a conservative? Cause that’s the easiest route and the one I have in mind. In other words, we take control of the existing mechanisms. That is, the internet and social media, television networks, newspapers etc.
Sadly yes we would have to maintain the power by keeping the system tilted. Just like how Liberals have been dominating the USA for quite a while even though more people are conservative. As they say, those who can make laws make the rules. And those who make rules can define what’s lawful.
There is only one problem with this plan, how do you keep the new conservatives from failing in leadership and continuing the same path, just at a lower speed? We will never have a success story in the USA if leaders don’t learn from past failures. So we must educate them in the correct direction. Progressives believe, incorrectly, that everything can and should be controlled through a centralized power. If we want the rich and powerful to stop abusing the system, it can’t be by increasing the size of government, it has to be by empowering people.
We can take the internet and social media. Good luck taking old media though. The good news is that old media especially newspapers is irrelevant now. The only obstacle is Democrats using lawfare to cock block attempts to control social media. Musk is coming under fire by the system right now because he supports Trump. Which is why Trump winning is important.
It is true that to pull off that plan Democrats need to lose. But if they do taking the internet back looks to be in sight. Now I think the best way to empower the people is to make them more involved in the system or to minimize government. A Libertarian system or perhaps Sociocracy will work for that. We could even combine the two. However, without data we don’t know if that will work or not. No system will work forever given humanities flaws anyways. To solve that we’d have to change human nature or put AI in charge.
Indeed, Trump winning will set everything straight as we can get rid of their chokehold on the internet. The worst issue will likely be their reaction to the loss. What plans have they cooked up to counter the new world order which I expect to rise regardless of their attempts?
Let me emphasize this one last time, most of those people aren’t progressives in any real sense. They aren’t interested in equality and shared sacrifice. They are instead all about self-interest, control, corruption, and using any and all means available to maximize their power. This includes leveraging racial, sexual, and other forms of bigotry, as well as moralism, to target any opposition. If they’re willing to go to these lengths, don’t kid yourself, there isn’t a fucking thing on earth they aren’t willing to do, and a lot of evidence that they already have.
