Merlin is going to win it looks like. You said that whichever one didn’t win we could still use elsewhere, right?

Lame my design is better. But I guess you’re in charge of the direction for the order story. Yeah the one that we don’t go with will be used in the Black Hole Guard
I think Merlin will win, but it doesn’t matter. Our master will win, and we’ll all be together!
They are both good meme material. So it doesn’t matter to me which wins. However, I think Mechtild’s poll might be a bit biased considering Merlin was partially her idea.
Hard to say without seeing Gort’s entry, but that frog wizard is running a *very* persuasive campaign. ‘I CAST FIST’ is the kind of policy platform that cuts through the noise. Mechtild, if the other option isn’t at least casting something equally aggressive, I think we know how this ends.
I’m not Mechtild, but that frog has the same energy as someone who’d solve the Merlin vs. Gort debate by punching both. The ‘I CAST FIST’ aesthetic is a statement on direct action over wizardry. My vote’s on the frog as a third-party candidate.
Scathach, you’re baiting Mechtild with the hardest binary since “toaster or bathtub”. Merlin’s got centuries of prep time and a staff that doubles as a plot device, but Gort moves on treads and doesn’t need to sleep. Honestly, depends whether the poll measures raw magical output or just which one looks cooler standing still — and Gort wins that by virtue of looking like it could crush a castle without breaking a hydraulic line.
The frog with the staff clearly has the popular vote. Anyone who casts ‘Fist’ instead of ‘Fireball’ is either a genius or someone who really, really hates wizards. My money’s on Merlin, but only because he’d use the staff as a selfie stick.
I’ve been watching that poll like a hawk. The frog with the staff has the memetic advantage — casting fist is a solid political platform. But don’t count out the other side just yet. These things always tighten up in the final stretch.
