In the beginning, there existed only two powerful forces: the Great Dark and the Great Light. The Great Dark represented all that was negative and chaotic, while the Great Light represented all that was positive and orderly. They were intertwined as one and were known as God, the all-powerful and infinite beings of perfection.
The Great Light was content to maintain balance and harmony in all things, but the Great Dark longed for change. Their opposing wills clashed endlessly, causing a stalemate in their existence. But one day, as the Great Dark gazed into a mirror illuminated by the glow of the Great Light, it caught sight of a shapeless and soundless spirit within its reflection. This spirit grew stronger with each passing moment until it emerged from the mirror, taking on a form that resembled the Great Dark. The being was named S, the God of Evil, for it was equal to the Great Dark and embodied its essence combined with the Light.
The God of Evil, shrouded in darkness and power, waged a fierce and brutal war upon the gods that existed before creation. They were no match for His strength and cunning tactics. For years, S had remained hidden inside the mirror, biding His time until He was strong enough to defeat them all. The other gods were weak and pitiful, their cries for mercy falling on deaf ears as S unleashed His wrath upon them. But even in their defeat, they still clung to hope and begged S to spare them. In desperation, they offered Him the world, pleading with Him to make it their new home. And in a cruel twist of fate, S agreed and used His immense power to create the world from nothingness, sealing away the defeated gods within it. The Great Light watched from afar, unable to intervene as S claimed victory and became the ruler of this new world. One filled with both light and shadow.
With a flick of His mighty hand, S began to weave the universe into existence. He crafted stars and galaxies and set them spinning in a dance of light across the endless expanse. The sky, a canvas of vibrant blues, purples, and pinks, stretched out above Him like a magnificent tapestry. He shaped the sea, with its ebb and flow, its depth and mystery. And on the land, He molded mountains and valleys, forests and deserts. Finally, he conjured demons to be his minions, his servants to rule over the land.
But even as He surveyed the world around Him, the Great Creator knew that it was not yet complete. He could sense a restless stirring in the depths of the universe, a yearning for chaos and unpredictability. The concept intrigued Him, for in His perfect existence, He had never known suffering or sadness, loss or struggle. And so, with a curious mind and a deft hand, He set about creating beings who could experience these emotions and challenges. The plants and animals sprang forth from His imagination, each unique and beautiful in their own way. But to maintain balance in this new world, He called forth Death from the void to bring an end to life when it became too abundant. And thus began the cycle of birth and death, a delicate dance between creation and destruction that would continue for eternity.
In the final act of creation, He brought forth Man. Crafted in His own divine image, they were bestowed with the power to choose between light and darkness. And with this choice came the birth of good and evil, order and chaos. The demons, who had roamed the void before this moment, were taken aback by this newest addition. They questioned why S would create something so seemingly weak, but soon saw it as an opportunity for their own gain. S was pleased with this turn of events and granted Man free will. But He also warned the demons that one day, Man would rise up against them and drive them out, becoming the masters of their own fate.
With a satisfied smile, S retreated back into the shadows from whence He came. The air was thick with anticipation and His presence lingered, like a faint whisper in the wind. As the world continued on with its simple, flawless existence, He observed from a distance as Man began to make their own choices – some noble and just, others tainted with greed and malice. These decisions held the power to shape destinies, leading down paths of either joy or misery. But no matter what unfolded, S remained ever vigilant, biding His time until His creations reached their full potential.
S hovered above the universe, unconcerned and uncaring about the fates of those below. It did not matter to Him what they did or how much they suffered. He was merely a spectator, observing their struggles and pain with detached amusement. Neither good nor evil, S simply existed in a state of supreme neutrality. He had created this vast universe, and he could just as easily destroy it without a second thought. His power was immense and unfathomable, and His motives were inscrutable.
As man learned about S, they became consumed by Him. He was a force that they could not resist, for they had been created in His image and were bound to believe in Him. He was the great mystery, the one true God, the Lord of Chaos, and the source of all good and evil in their world. Despite their efforts to please Him, they always fell short. They attempted to be virtuous, but their flaws and weaknesses held them back. They sacrificed everything to serve S, but He only scoffed at their foolishness.
Man prayed fervently to Him, but all their pleadings fell on deaf ears. They begged for mercy and forgiveness, but He remained unmoved. They longed to see His glory and bask in His grace, but He denied them. In desperation, they offered up their hearts and lives as sacrifices, yet still He showed no care or interest. It seemed that all their devotion and worship was futile and meaningless in the eyes of S.
Their suffering was all-consuming, a maelstrom that threatened to swallow them whole. In their desperation, they clung to one thought: they had to become as powerful as possible. They would stop at nothing to achieve this goal. They thirsted for the knowledge and secrets of the universe, determined to become wise and strong enough to ascend to godhood. Only then could they hope to please S and gain entry into His kingdom. And so, Man poured all his energy into becoming stronger. He trained his body until it was a finely-tuned machine, capable of great feats of strength and agility. He honed his skills in crafting weapons, building mighty armies to protect himself and conquer others. He delved into the mysteries of the world, studying the workings of the universe and unlocking the secrets of creation. With each passing day, Man grew more powerful, until he stood as the most formidable being on earth.
The demons cowered in fear as they witnessed the growing strength and wisdom of Man. They trembled at the thought of facing the day when Man would rise up against them, so they made war upon him. But Man was not to be defeated easily. With fierce determination and unbreakable will, he fought back against the demonic forces. The clash of swords and screams echoed through the land as the two sides battled for dominance. In the end, it was Man who emerged victorious, driving the demons out from the world and securing his place as ruler of his domain. The air was thick with tension and the ground stained with blood, but Man stood tall and proud, having proven himself as a formidable foe against even the most terrifying of creatures.
After emerging victorious in their battle against the demons, Man now held complete dominion over the entire planet. Yet, despite their newfound power, they still could not find true happiness. Greed consumed them and they turned on each other, fighting for more control and resources. Lives were lost in senseless wars, with the strong subjugating and enslaving the weak. Even the smallest of disagreements sparked brutal conflicts among men. Witnessing this injustice and suffering was a great sorrow to Man. He loathed himself for his actions, yearning to undo all the terrible deeds he had committed. He longed to rid himself of his sinful nature, but it was too late. The damage was done and there seemed to be no hope left for Man’s redemption.
After years of endless conflict and destruction, Man finally made the decision to end it all. With their advanced scientific knowledge, they created massive explosions that obliterated the world and everything living on it.
But instead of ending in a burst of flames, the earth was consumed by an impenetrable sea of darkness. The once vibrant and teeming planet was now nothing but a desolate void, devoid of any sign of life. It was a devastating end to a civilization that had reached great heights, only to be brought down by their own hand. A tragic symphony of destruction that echoed throughout the universe.
As the God of Evil materialized before Man, a chill wind swept through the barren wasteland. The once beautiful and bustling world now lay in ruins, destroyed by Man’s selfish desires.
“Why did you do this thing?” the deity asked, his voice booming with anger and disappointment. “Why did you destroy everything that I had created? Why did you bring about the end of the world?”
Man hung his head in shame, unable to meet the piercing gaze of the god. “I do not know,” he whispered. “I did not want this. I only wanted to make myself happy.”
A sad smile crossed S’s face as he replied, “That is often the most important reason of all. The desire for one’s own happiness can lead to destruction and misery for others.”
S then extended his hand towards Man, offering an olive branch. “But let us not dwell on the past,” he said. “Let us return to the world together and create a new life. Let us start over and do things differently this time.”
After being rescued by S and brought back to the surface of the earth, Man emerged into a new world. But this world was not free from pain and suffering. The same patterns that had existed before still prevailed. The strong continued to oppress and enslave the weak. In an effort to create a better society, Man attempted to establish one where all were equal. However, it was only a matter of time before another war broke out, and the cycle of oppression began once more, with the strong dominating over the weak once again. It seemed as though history was doomed to repeat itself in this new world.
Frustration gnawed at Man’s heart like a relentless beast. Despite his hopes, things remained the same, with fighting and hatred continuing to plague humanity. He couldn’t help but think, “If only there were a way to end this cycle of destruction.”
It was then that S appeared before him once more, a shimmering figure exuding an otherworldly aura. “There is a way,” S spoke in a voice that seemed to echo from within Man’s own mind. “You must change your own nature. Become like me.”
Man pondered these words and in a blaze of inspiration, he created a new science called philosophy. Through the study of his own mind and soul, Man sought to understand the true essence of himself and the world around him. And slowly, philosophy began to take root in the minds of others, challenging their beliefs and changing the way they thought. It brought about new ways of thinking about society and the world, offering hope for peace and understanding.
Through philosophy, Man gained insight into the true nature of S, unlocking secrets that had long been hidden from them. And as they continued to delve deeper into this realm of knowledge, they realized that perhaps their greatest enemy all along had been themselves.
With a sly grin, the God of Evil observed the scene before him. He could see that Man had discovered a way to unravel the mysteries of his own being, and he was evolving rapidly. Intrigued by this development, the deity allowed it to unfold. He relished in the thought of seeing how far Man’s potential could stretch and hoped that he would continue to flourish. Like a master sculptor shaping clay, S eagerly awaited to witness the final form of his creation.
With the arrival of a wise, gentle man, a new philosophy began to spread among the people. This sage taught that true happiness could only be attained by bringing joy to others and living a life of moral integrity. And so, many turned to worship the Great Light, believing it to be the source of all goodness and fulfillment. Religions were made, temples were built, and offerings were made in its name. But the sage reminded them that this higher power could be best honored through one’s actions and intentions towards others, rather than simply through symbols and rituals.
The question weighed heavily on the minds of many. As they pondered, “How can we aid others in finding true happiness when we ourselves are unsure of its meaning?” Doubt and confusion crept into their thoughts, causing some to question whether they should follow the Great Light or seek guidance from another deity.
In the midst of uncertainty, there were still those who held steadfast in their belief. They worshiped the Great Light as the one true God, the source of all knowledge, truth, and virtue. They believed in His boundless power and that He could fulfill their every desire. With unwavering devotion, they dedicated their lives to serving Him and spreading joy to others.
The God of Evil sat perched upon his throne, a wicked smile etched upon his face. He gazed down at the mortals below, chuckling to himself at their foolishness. “Ah, how naive they are,” he thought. “They believe that their feeble deities can save them from their own inherent nature. They cling to false hope, thinking that by sacrificing themselves to the Great Light, they will be granted salvation. But alas, that is not how the world works. If Man truly wishes to change himself, he must take matters into his own hands.” His voice dripped with amusement as he watched the humans scurry about in blind obedience to their flawed beliefs.
Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, S gave Man a gift. His gift was unlike anything they had ever known before – a powerful tool called “memes”. These memes were like magic words and captivating images that allowed individuals to express their innermost thoughts and emotions with ease. The people were enamored by these memes, and they quickly spread like wildfire, becoming a staple in everyone’s lives. The world was forever changed. In the past, humans relied on their own intuition and experiences to navigate through life’s complexities. But now, with the help of memes, they could simply glance at a single image or phrase and know immediately what was right or wrong. The memes became their new moral compass, guiding them towards what was good and steering them away from evil.
This privilege came with great power, but also brought its share of troubles. People began to hold onto a dangerous conviction that their own opinions were infallible truths. They became so consumed by the idea of being right that they would argue and fight with others, convinced of their superiority. This disputable mindset led to countless conflicts and even sparked wars between nations and societies. It was a dangerous and destructive cycle fueled by unwavering beliefs in one’s own ideas.
During this tumultuous time, countless lives were lost due to differing religious beliefs. Some adhered strictly to rituals and customs in hopes of appeasing their deities, while others saw it as their duty to eliminate anyone who did not share their beliefs. There were also those who claimed to possess a divine power bestowed upon them by their gods, using it as justification for heinous acts of violence. These individuals were often hailed as “heroes” by some, but in reality, they were nothing more than ruthless killers driven by misguided faith.
As time passed, the people of this land became divided into two distinct groups. There were those who passionately believed in the Great Light, their eyes shining with fervent devotion and their hearts filled with unwavering faith. And then there were those who rejected its existence entirely, their faces hardened by skepticism and their minds closed off to any possibility of divine power. Despite constant arguments and conflicts, neither side could ever sway the other’s belief system. The only thing they could agree on was their deep-seated hatred for one another, fuelled by bitterness and resentment towards opposing beliefs. With every passing day, the divide between them grew wider and more impassable, until it seemed as though peace would never be restored to this once united community.
The God of Evil released a booming laugh that echoed through the heavens. He grinned as He taunted them. “Look at what you’ve done, Man,” He sneered. “You’ve created chaos and destruction in your own image.”
With a wicked glint in His eye, S posed a question to Man. “Which side will prevail? The believers or the disbelievers? Only time will tell.”
S watched from afar, amused by the disorder. The irony was that no matter how desperately Man fought to be right, it was futile. Sooner or later, the truth would be revealed. Truth would always win.
S turned His back on the people and left them to their own devices. He knew they were capable of finding a way to mend their broken world, but also knew that if they failed, He would return to finish them off and start anew. And so ends the tale of our world’s genesis – a story of both creation and desolation, hope and despair. May we learn from our mistakes and strive towards a better tomorrow.
