The pandemic that hit the planet had only been contained until this day. Death God took its chance, releasing a fatalistic meme that hit everyone everywhere. Memes appeared out of nowhere, scaring, terrifying, spreading misinformation, sowing distrust, hate and paranoia.
The internet became an agent of chaos. People became self-conscious of everything they did and everything they didn’t. They began to think differently, their brains changing, their minds warped and corrupted.
The internet, once a force of innovation and progress was now a playground for a virtual mafia, controlled and dictated by Death God. We, mere mortals, had no chance against him, his power was too great!
