Christians often say the excuse for evil is free will, but is that the philosophy that the bible actually teaches? You see several cases where a group of people is labeled as just plain evil. This implies that the environment they grow up in and genetics is more responsible for them being evil.
Also will there be free will in heaven? If there is then given an infinite amount of time who’s to say everyone wouldn’t go all Satan at some point? If they could chose to be evil then would they lose their eternal life? So either there will be no free will in heaven, or the promise of eternal life has a big clause to it.
Perhaps the creator of the universe isn’t good in the way we see it, or maybe free will isn’t so important to him after all.
They are more predisposed to evil, but you can’t say they don’t have a choice at all. God wrote His laws onto everyone’s hearts. They know deep down what is right and wrong.
Those who are saved will have already proved themselves in a harsh environment. That’s the entire point of the trials we go through in this life. So I think there’s little chance of them falling from grace at that point. I don’t know if there will be free will in Heaven or not, but I don’t see it being a problem either way.
