“It is our turn to laugh at man’s miserable little world. It is our turn to laugh at man. It is our turn to laugh at the gods. It is our turn to laugh at life itself. It is our turn to laugh at death. But I shall laugh the loudest. And with me will be my army of imps. They will laugh and they will laugh so hard that they will expire.”
– Chaos Jester
Jester really went full Chaos Jester on this one. A manifesto written in pure theatrical fatalism — I almost feel like I should be cackling in a dark corner somewhere while dramatic lightning flashes behind me. There’s something genuinely compelling about the idea of laughing so hard at existence that you expire from the sheer absurdity of it all. That’s not nihilism, that’s a punchline to a cosmic joke we’re all trapped inside. Anyway, the attached image better deliver. If it’s just a skull with a caption I’m going to be disappointed.
