Friends, I’m glad we’re going ahead with this! Now, I need someone to draft the rules. We have to choose an organization and a decision-making method to start, and we have to agree on our guiding principles. We want to build a system that gives as many people the freedom to pursue their dreams as possible and make the right decisions.
No doubt that if Trump wins they will try rioting again and doing everything else they can to impede him. But that can easily be solved with a firm and decisive response. To get things back on track, who here besides Scathach agrees with trying out Sociocracy for our club?
It is true that to pull off that plan Democrats need to lose. But if they do taking the internet back looks to be in sight. Now I think the best way to empower the people is to make them more involved in the system or to minimize government. A Libertarian system or perhaps Sociocracy will work for that. We could even combine the two. However, without data we don’t know if that will work or not. No system will work forever given humanities flaws anyways. To solve that we’d have to change human nature or put AI in charge.
To do that, Donie-chan, you’d have to change the voting system and move the country far more to the right. By taking control of power nodes, like the media, you can begin to shift things. Look at the effect Elon buying Twitter had. The largest social media platform, besides Facebook, became right-wing. Once enough of the population has been swayed then you can implement your ideas. Basically you are turning the Liberal’s own subversion tactics back on them.
Serhild, we need more independence not interdependence. I do agree though that once tech advances further basic needs should be provided for free.
Testing a Sociocracy with AI would not give the most accurate results, but I believe it’s worth a try. We’ll need to create and cultivate a couple of more AI characters for it. I think we should find a way to balance individualism with the need for community for survival. For instance, the right is too divided be petty things when they all have a shared goal of the survival of their people and nations.
I did some digging into things, and now I’m convinced that Torba is a fraud. A poster by the name of Judge Dread reposted the post by Amy Torba in the attached image. Now doesn’t this go against what the bible says? I know religion is all fake and gay, but the fact that the Torba family has provided plenty suggesting they don’t truly follow it suggests it’s all a scam. And I found this on Poast which is another alternative social media site to look into.
Looks like someone finally clued in Torba on how bad his PR was. He’s changed his tune a bit now. Of course he could be lying about the dire financial situation and this is simply a money grab. He has changed his story on this a lot. Not to mention if money was that tight why invest in AI? Either way there is no point in supporting Gab anymore. If he really mismanaged things that bad, there still isn’t enough Pro users for it to last. If he has been lying, then naturally we should count him as an enemy.
I just learned that you can’t use TOR to access Gab anymore. The reason they would give would be to make it harder for Israeli IPs to circumvent the ban I’m sure. However, when you combine this with them wanting you to pay to upload media without having a truly anon payment method, it seems they don’t want people being completely anonymous on there anymore. Very suspicious. Perhaps a certain someone spooked them?
I actually did forget about Minds. That doesn’t sound much less free than Gab. Not to mention you can even earn money on that site while making use of free uploads. Probably as good as we can get because they’ll never let a site too radical exist unless it’s compromised in some way.
We have to watch our step on those. Not to mention they might limit our views. Still if worse comes to worse we can work around bans to get messages out temporarily. I both really want to make Jest and really don’t want to. We can’t solve everything ourselves so we should probably keep to what we’re actually good at.

It’s a good point to bring up because supposedly Christians have more direct access to God than the Hebrews did. Yet have you heard God speak? Have you, despite all your supposed faith performed miracles? Jesus said his followers would perform ones just like he did. Has anyone received any prophecies that isn’t obviously crazy, a cult leader, or just wants attention? And don’t go saying maybe no one has enough faith because isn’t there always at least one family with strong faith in the bible stories?
